minimized applications disappear

When I minimize applications including browsers they disappear and I can no longer find them. Where do they go and how do I get them back?; also, how do you add items to the panel and why do minimized apps not go to the panel?. Thanks

Since you are running antiX, it would help to know which version, and which desktop manager you have selected, since antiX comes with several and the answer may be different (for example) for Icewm than it is for Fluxbox.

In icewm apps.should be.minimized.to the icewm task bar by default. I would like to see a Screenshot of.your.situation. also inxi -F please.

antix16, disappears running rox-icewm and running xfce

I cannot reproduce the problem here running live. I see tabs for minimized windows in IceWM and in xfce (installed via the meta-package installer) in the taskbar/panel.
