Flash-Aid for Firefox

#1 Postby joany » Mon Oct 25, 2010 7:45 pm

I've noticed lots of people have posted about problems with 64-bit flash. There's a Firefox add-on called Flash-Aid, which was developed for Ubuntu. Has anyone tried this add-on with MEPIS?
MX-14; 3.12-0.bpo.1-686-pae kernel using 4GB RAM
2.4GHz AMD Athlon 4600+
NVidia GeForce 6150 LE; 304.121 Display Driver

Tried it, detected my system properly and opens a terminal. It requires that the user be in the sudoers file. Mine is not and I did not bother going further. It does look like it can be made to work.
