X problem

#1 Postby brux » Sat May 05, 2012 6:47 am

Briefly...I wanted to check sgfxi so I ctrl-alt-f1 up comes the black screen and before I could type in anything I started getting this [1416.688163] usb 6-1: usbfs: interface 0 clained by usblp while "usb" sets config #1.
This keeps repeating itself with the first number in brackets increasing.
Any help would be appreciated...thanks.

i think i've seen similar while running antix.

try this >> kdesu kwrite /etc/sysctl.conf
# Uncomment the following to stop low-level messages on console
#kernel.printk = 3 4 1 3 << found here.

took a little bit of searching but i found it :smiley2: bookmarked now .

good luck
