Difficulties with VirtualBox

Thanks to all for responses and links. The download from dropbox took a few minutes, the torrent took over six hours. 'Torrent' needs redefining as wimpy dribble! ;)

But at least I'm getting my head around VB and what it can do.

One further query if I may: if I was to image my Win7 OS (on three partitions SDA1/2/3) in order to run Win7 in VB, do I need to image all three, or just SDA3 (SDA2 is recovery and SDA1 is 15gb of something or other.) Is the boot sector and grub imaged as well, and what happens in VB if just booting Win7. It was all preinstalled on my laptop, and there are no OEM CDs.
