No Sound in AJAX on website

#1 Postby maryjo » Sat Jul 30, 2011 1:38 pm

I'm using M11 and I do have sound but not when I am on AJAX (chat) on another site. One of my friends using Debian has the AJAX sounds and another one using Ubuntu doesn't have sound either. I'm not referring to voice...just the sound events.

Anyone have any idea why this would happen and possibly offer a solution?

ajax is a group of technologies used to create more interactive websites. whether there's sound is dependent upon whether or not the developer has included sound for different events.

if you have sound for things like youtube, then you should have sound for any site that has sound events. if not, open kmix and check all the sliders to eliminate the possibility that one may be muted or set for a real low volume.
