Thanks, fehlix! MXPI did indeed install 5.1.1. I had 4.0.1 installed and AnyDesk was grayed out in MXPI, so the update to 5.1.1 was unexpected (until I read your post).
It installed with no errors so the Quick Fix was not needed in my case.

Re: [SOLVED] anydesk update install error
Yes, for those 3rd party apps, we do not "query" the source to check for updates, that would be to much workload for MXPI.

Re: [SOLVED] anydesk update install error
As I guess, it will take some time until they provide a updated deb package, probably worth to consider, I might have a look and add the quick fix to the MXPI anydesk installer, if that would be of help for anybody ... ...oops wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 4:40 amStill have here the issue with Anydesk 5.1.1 amd64, so need to do:It installed with no errors so the Quick Fix was not needed in my case.Code: Select all

Re: [SOLVED] anydesk update install error
I think it is better, this issue may be hidden (if you do not read the message/warning into the terminal at the end of the process)

Re: [SOLVED] anydesk update install error
Yes, this could be really helpful, because AnyDesk team does not react on my bug report...

Re: [SOLVED] anydesk update install error
Well, this thread is a bit out of date. We have meanwhile an Anydesk installer entry within MX Package Installer -> Populare Apps.xaviererror wrote: ↑Thu May 07, 2020 12:46 pm Thank you fehlix, your "quick fix" worked on my anydesk problem too.
