My 64 bit build system also does a lot better with libgtk3-perl onboard. What do you think, a +2 with it added to the depends?
It doesn't die without the perl package, just throws that notice...you could argue that an enormous number of packages have that as a suggested package, in that case.

The latest linux-liquorix_4.16-1.1 is now available to download from the test repo.

We now have 4.16-3.1 (4.16.10) in the test repo, which is based on the 4.16.10 and 4.16.11 rc vanilla kernel sources.

Updated in the test repo to 4.16-7 (4.16-15.1) based on the 4.16.15 kernel release.

We now have the last 4.16 kernel version, 4.16-11, and the first 4.17.0-1 version, which is based on vanilla kernel release 4.17.3. I installed that on MX 17-x64 in Virtual Box, and continue to get the resizable window and shared folder features, so that means either the outside virtualbox-guest-* modules are building successfully, or it's using the kernel's internal versions of those now. I haven't figured out which applies yet.

Will it be OK to install kernel 4.14 from /mx/testrepo/pool/test/l/linux-liquorix in MX 17.1

I tried the Debian backport 4.17 but Vbox doesn't like it.

I'll try the test repo version to see if if plays with Vbox without tweaking.
Thinkpad T430 & Dell Latitude E7450, both with MX-21.3.1
kernal 5.10.0-26-amd64 x86_64; Xfce-4.18.0; 8 GB RAM
Intel Core i5-3380M, Graphics, Audio, Video; & SSDs.
