From the link that was posted. When is a demo version not a demo version?
The demo version allows you to try out all the features of Master PDF Editor. There are no limitations except for the addition of a watermark on the output file.

The additional-pro features are demo! All other which are most of the ones are need are fully functional, and by this not a demo! So dosnt matter how we call it, you'll simply find no other tool which can do this on linux
with such an easy to use and for free use, non-comercially!

I took their website declaration literally. Thanks for the clarification.
I like qpdfview for reading. It would be nice to be able to edit, but I rarely if ever need to.

How much work would it take to put an MX-compatible .deb in the test repo?

Like Fehlix, I've been using mPDFedit for several years.
I always just download the 64 & 32 bit free versions.

It isn't a demo. At least for my uses it is adequate.

It is more sophisticated than the PDFshuffler, and much better at editing.
The Shuffler is great for a quick way to move pages around.

It's proprietary, so if we did have permission to put their debs in the repo, we'd put them into main in the non-free section. Does anyone see anything about redistribution on their website?

The alternative would be to just get the debs with a Package Installer script, like Slimjet. That's less work for the repo maintainers and avoids any distribution issues; you would just reinstall it when you get a update notification in the program.

I find it's about as fast as mupdf for displaying really complex PDFs like geologic maps; much faster than qpdf.

I don't see anything one way or the other about distributing debs: https://code-industry.net/masterpdfedit ... agreement/
