MX is not Ubuntu. "DIstribution template" - MX won't be on any list of Ubuntu distributions?

https://mxlinux.org/wiki/help-files/mx-faqs/
Makes sense, that Ubuntu features won't make it to MX since MX is Debian based. Just didn't realize PPA was an Ubuntu thing.

Any question, let us know.
Yep, I've already gone through the manual addition of the repo and installed just fine. Since MX is based on Debian, I follow Debian install instructions (e.g. https://docs.docker.com/install/linux/docker-ce/debian/).

With add-apt-repository being a staple of repo-based installations on Debian, I'm surprised this isn't identified as a bug for MX. That's all.

Still confuses me why the add-apt-repository binary doesn't work to add any repository on MX because /etc/apt/sources.list is missing. Then why is that binary included? Perhaps I did something wrong?

Anyway, MX still rocks. Just nit-picking.
