DNS leak tests
DNS leak tests
Using NordVPN's servers, I use https://www.dnsleaktest.com/ and https://ipleak.net/ to check for DNS leak. Are they reliable means for this? Which one(s) do you use?

If you're interested in preventing leaks and locking down your system, I put a post up elsewhere you might find helpful. Or not.

Re: DNS leak tests
Yes for https://www.dnsleaktest.com/ and no for https://ipleak.net/ since it's a dead link. I have no DNS leaks with Astrill VPN. Lately there has been some controversy with Nord VPN. I don't recall the video on YouTube about it.philotux wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 8:03 am Using NordVPN's servers, I use https://www.dnsleaktest.com/ and https://ipleak.net/ to check for DNS leak. I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.

Unable to connect
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at ipleak.net.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
