Tried env XDG_DATA_DIRS=/usr/share/xfce4:/usr/local/share:/usr/share firefox.

The errors went away, but problem persisted.

Is it a firefox issue and does it print normally from other applications or other browser .
If so print to PDF and do print the PDF from PDF viewer.
Gigabyte Z77M-D3H, Intel Xeon E3-1240 V2 (Quad core), 32GB RAM,
GeForce GTX 770, Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB, Seagate Barracuda 4TB

Strange, the mozilla.pdf I created still prints slow, but the native pdf's print fine. tried three. Incidentally one of them printed slow in firefox, but when I downloaded it, it printed fine. I don't quite understand it.

P.S. jpegs also print fine.
