For issues with MX that has been modified from the initial install. Example: adding packages that then cause issues.

/dev Not Populating-mei Error Code

#1 Post by Max17 »

I have been noticing on the load scrip I have been getting this error message listed above. There is a bunch of numbers along with it. I'm not sure what they are. Loads to fast.
I found some information about it; but it entails a solution for Ubuntu 12.04.

I looked in that "etc/microprob.d" folder and there was nothing there about a blacklist.config file. Is there anything that can be done; or should I just forget about it.

Thanks Max

you can create the file. I suggest naming it blacklist_mei.conf so that you can find it later.

/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist_mei.conf

Code: Select all

blacklist mei
blacklist mei_me

Okay. I'm headed out of town shortly for a few days. I will have to follow-up on this. Thanks dolphin_oricle. You all are the best.
