LXQt and KDE respins - personal projects

For issues with MX that has been modified from the initial install. Example: adding packages that then cause issues.

I get a lot of dbus and klauncher crap that I don't know what it means, it makes me happy with Xfce when I see that...
I changed the command in the MX Live USB Maker to "sudo mx-live-usb-maker" and it works perfect now in the KDE environment. Thanks for the help, Adrian!

Btw I'm not sure why, but it actually made the live usb faster, it usually takes about 4-5 mins. but this time only 3. :)

NOTICE: For anyone reading this, this is not the respin KDE that Adrian made, it's the KDE added to the regular XFCE version, just to be clear. ;)

Would you care to elaborate on this lack of functionality?

1. whisker menu has search field
2. when I tested the LXQT spin (see pg 1 of this thread), I was having problems adding launchers/shortcuts on the panel. Couldn't drag it there.
3. no GUI for things like autostarting of programs. Also, just compare XFCE settings manager in general to the LXQT tools/settings.
4. xfce has random wallpaper changer abilities
5. [more personal preference, I guess] - lots more gtk themes to use and apply, than QT themes.
Desktop: Intel i5-4460, 16GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics
Clevo N130WU-based Ultrabook: Intel i7-8550U (Kaby Lake R), 16GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics (UEFI)
ASUS X42D laptop: AMD Phenom II, 6GB RAM, Mobility Radeon HD 5400

Thanks for that. I have to say the MX presentation or rather customization of Xfce is much more to my taste than I had previously experienced. I was using Fedora and Xfce was very basic compared to MX. I'll still try the Qt respin though.

A recurrent question: can we await for another amazing KDE/Plasma respin for MX19?

Thanks in advance.

I will probably do it soon, probably after I release first monthly snapshot for MX19.
