I started seeing SQL errors around noon. Sent a msg to Peregrine, but she was unpersuaded!

I was just seeing SQL errors (where I was unable to get to the forums here) within the past hour or so. But, they stopped after a few minutes and I could get to the forums again.

I couldn't access the site for at least 10-15 minutes earlier.

With Peregrine, I think you get a lot more than you pay for! Maybe you should double her salary.

Had a message from her that she has filed a ticket with the hosting service, and has spotted some spikes that need investigation.

Here are the graphs from the server's cpanel for yesterday's problems, but I have no idea how to figure anything out. That spike around 2-3 led to a limit being applied to usage, and I sent my first message to Peregrine at 2:47 (not at noon). Thoughts?

Maybe a DDOS b/c we are so critical...

I was napping. But recently (during the last week or so) I had an episode where I couldn't get on the forum. Tried for 15 minutes off and on. Gave up. It was very late (after midnight here) so didn't worry too much. worked before, worked after.
Yes, even I am dishonest. Not in many ways, but in some. Forty-one, I think it is.
