[Our forums are already about the most feature-rich, but...]
One very cool feature I saw on another forum was that, over
on the right in the data-area of info about the poster/replier was
(high-lighted in a contrasting color) the fact that they
were the 'OP' (aka base-poster) for that thread. VERY HELPFUL
in long threads, where it's easy to lose track about who made the base-post.
One other small glitch: in that same area (of info about the poster),
it seems that there may be a bug. If my profile says
to share my age/birthday/whatever (mine says to share my age),
then I expect to see that there (but I don't). I should.

You're taking the "unanswered topics" topic rather seriously I see. This one's 8 1/2 years old!
The OP highlight suggestion is great. I regularly find myself scrolling back to post #1 to find out who started the topic.
The age thing already appears if you view poster's profile.
Re: Suggestion for forum feature...
There have been several software changes since then. Please do not bump or reply to posts that are more than a couple years old. Their relevance is questionable.

In some forums, necrobumping is really frowned on. Perhaps this thread can be locked.

Not just locked, though, right? We're going to simply remove all the ancient ones, and archive older MX?
