Re: Are mechanical keyboards worth the price?
I have a Unicomp keyboard, which uses the tech from the original IBM Model M keyboard. It was expensive but worth it in my case as I make fewer errors typing due to the better feedback in the keys. It might not be worth it if you don't do a lot of typing.

Re: tp-link Archer T3U Nano driver [Solved]
This unit doesn't have wireless. I have another similar machine that does, and it's slow. In other words, there's more than one version of this box. I have a plan though, that might get me on cat5. The ethernet can keep up.

Re: tp-link Archer T3U Nano driver [Solved]
Adapter found and working. I'm not getting the speed I was hoping for -- under 30Mbps on a 350Mbps network -- but it's better than it was with the old adapter. Maybe the USB ports aren't up to it on this 12 year old machine which was low powered when new?

Welcome andymx. Love your methodical approach. Just a note: you don't need to move your documents. You can access them from both OSes.

Re: Single or Double click?
Can we be sure that the double clickers aren't double clicking the Double-click button when they vote?

I wonder if double clickers change hyperlinks to double click.

Part Three: https://john.colagioia.net/blog/2023/06/17/green-comet-3.html So much for the "book club" I guess. No one has joined the conversation, other than a couple of us, and I don't think he pays attention to comments anyway. He continues to harp on something that I explained to him a ...

Re: Green Comet
They're into part two now and here are a few examples of niggles. We finally get something in the neighborhood of a plot. some dialogue feels like an unedited improv sketch. a lot of this “feels devoid of emotion” https://john.colagioia.net/blog/2023/06/10/green-comet-2.html It's interesting seeing ...
