Re: Logitech B100 usb mouse on MX 23 [Solved]

Kester , There's some similarity with the problem you're having with your Logitech mouse and what I reported here: https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=78941, though in my case it involved both keyboard and mouse. So you might try installing one of the Liquorix kernels with MX Package Installer.

Re: nonresponsive keyboard&mouse with some kernels

Is that 6.6-16 Liquorix kernel behaving? Yes the keyboard and mouse are working with the 6.6-16 Liquorix kernel (using it right now). My 6.6-16 Liquorix kernel isn't one that you built, it was installed directly from the Liquorix repo. But going from what I remember, the keyboard and mouse hasn't b...

nonresponsive keyboard&mouse with some kernels

I have MX-23.1-ahs installed. With some kernels, the 6.5.0-1mx-ahs-amd64 kernel for example (and some others), the Logitech wireless keyboard & mouse that I use is non-responsive. I can't login or change terminals (i.e. Ctrl+Alt+Fn). I can issue the REISUB sequence to shutdown/reset. The keyboar...

Re: USB Relay Controller - driver install.? [Solved]

It means that the driver won't build with our current compiler. Unfortunately this is a dead end. I don't think the driver (ftdi_sio kernel module) even needs to be built, it's already in the kernel. The dmesg snippets Jakob77 posted a couple posts back shows it being detected and attached to ttyUS...

Re: USB Relay Controller - driver install.? [Solved]

I found some scripts here: https://info.kmtronic.com/kmtronic-usb-one-relay-linux-test-script.html Not sure if you need the OpenSuse or Ubuntu ones, I downloaded both and didn't see much difference between them (I didn't look that closely at them though). One comment said something about needing to ...

Re: USB Relay Controller - driver install.? [Solved]

...And the 2. command: $ modinfo ftdi_sio | grep 0403.*6001 alias: usb:v0403p6001d*dc*dsc*dp*ic*isc*ip*in* Well I think the driver (kernel module) is already installed, so you shouldn't need to build anything from that 2009 download. (and there's probably other software that goes along with this wh...

Re: USB Relay Controller - driver install.? [Solved]

It looks like the driver download from 2009 builds a ftdi_sio kernel module. I don't currently have the 6.1 kernel installed on my MX-23.1ahs install so I can't check it, but the ftdi_sio module is present in the 6.5 kernel that MX-23.1ahs uses and looks like it supports the 0403:6001 pciid device. ...
