Re: MX-21 beta 2 feedback thread (xfce)
1. Application icons in Docklike Taskbar are broken again. VirtualBox, SDR++ (installed from a .deb file) and VirtualRadarServer (run with mono and launching it using a system-generated launcher on the desktop) all have the grey gear icons again. SDR++ and VirtualBox were working in beta 1 after Sw...

Re: MX-21 beta 2 feedback thread (xfce)
CAJA (Bug?) I am running caja and noticed that trash works when running under systemd but not when booting & running non-systemd. Something seems amiss.... I'm running SysVinit in MX-21 Xfce (at least that is what Quick System Info says so we have to trust the devs about this ;) ) I installed C...

Re: MX-21 beta 2 feedback thread (xfce)
and nomacs now appeared upon another refreshing. You can make nomacs fit better with the default font of MX or your own default font (you have to go bigger - if MX uses 10.5 try 13 for example). And adjust nomacs status bar text to match darkness of your font set in your gtk theme. This might make ...

Re: MX-21 beta 2 feedback thread (xfce)
Stuart_M There are a few variables: How many icon packs installed or maybe it only searches current icon pack with or without "Inherits". Whether the icon packs have a cache file or not (otherwise warnings will show in Settings Manager > Appearance > Icons tab I guess it's an Xfce utility...

Re: MX-21 beta 2 feedback thread (xfce)
gthumb is always dark, although if you watch close you will see the color change some between adwaita and arc for instance. but gthumb is generally dark. That's one reason why I won't use it, and why I think we shouldn't include it. My 75 year old eyes can't cope with dark themes; it gives me a hea...

Re: Can boot time be improved in dual boot?
It takes so much longer to get to that "window" to choose between MX or Windows than when only Windows 10 is installed. This indicates you are using Windows Loader as boot loader. Windows Loader (Windows 8 and later) dislikes dual booters (including dual booting different Windows OSes). W...

SeaMonkey 2.53.9 is available in MX-17/18 and in MX-19. Maybe you are using an outdated repo mirror?

Re: MX-21 beta 1 feedback thread
if you uninstall gtk3-nocsd, then you don't have to worry about the switch at all, the feature will be disabled. In fact, we will not be shipping that on final anyway. it causes many unexpected problems. Thanks, d_o. It’s a relief to know. MX-19 is excellent, but it’s nice to have a path forward an...

Re: MX-21 beta 1 feedback thread
dolphin_oracle I don't understand how MX Tweak is supposed to work regarding CSD. Xfce 4.16 uses CSDs by default yet MX Tweak says: "Use Client Side Decorations (CSD) on GTK3 applications that support them (requires session restart)" - this checkbox is ticked by default. So this is the de...

Re: MX-21 beta 1 feedback thread
@Richard
Your window borders are all over the place. Did you touch the "no CSD" setting in MX Tweak?
If you did, you might want to uncheck that setting and then reboot.
