Re: No sound. [Solved]
First, you should use Repo Manager in MX Tools to enable the AHS repo and then run any updates the come forth --> there's bound to be quite a few. Is the problem recurring? Second, you should use MXPI to install a Liquorix kernel, use Boot Options to ensure that this new kernel is the default boot ...
Re: No sound. [Solved]

Re: disappearing audio
Looks like I just joined the no sound club since I have the same issue. It's not like django013 described it here. Videos play fine but no sound. No startup sound. No sound from Thunderbird when I receive new mail. No sound at all. I posted my own thread on it.

Re: 150 or more entries in Multimedia
In my experience I never seen MX Linux ever come with all that going all the way back to MX-16 and I am using MX-23.2 which has only 10 entries in the Multimedia section. Please post your results from Quick System Info as clampett stated earlier in post #2.

Re: Xkill doesn't work. [Solved]
As already mentioned: The current one may stay there and you can assign a new key(s) for the same command and use that . (Or just use the other working Ctrl). Say: Command: xkill And it says "Now Press your keys" : Alt + X (or whatever you like) I went to the store just now and purchased ...
