Are you sure both OS's were installed in the same mode, either UEFi or legacy/BIOS/CSM ?
PS: given that your SanDisk SSD only appears as a boot option in legacy mode, did you install MX in legacy mode, too and did you install grub to MBR ? Only then would MX's grub take over the boot sequence.

Re: Examples to make "at" work [Solved]
You may just need to export the DISPLAY variable, which apparently is not part of the environment associated with an "at" job, e.g
Code: Select all
echo "DISPLAY=:0 vlc myclip.mp4" | at 12:34

Re: Thunar using ntfs3 vs ntfs-3g [Solved]
I would guess liquorix since 5.15... I use liquorix all the time and have shared NTFS partition and have never noticed any issues related to which driver is being used and I use that partition for some pretty huge Video editing and upscaling projects... Re: Plasma 6 availability [Solved]
It appears one possibility would be running neon unstable through docker/distrobox, but i have not tried this myself. I'll be happy to wait for MX25/trixie to ship plasma 6.2 or whatever is deemed stable by then !

Re: MX23 - how to disable os-prober (grub) [Solved]
Alright, tx again. A little confusing, though, update-grub used to follow what /etc/default/grub said, without the need to reconfigure (and i had missed the comment you mention)

Re: MX23 - how to disable os-prober (grub) [Solved]
Tx CB, but if i do that, will update-grub *always* ignore other OS's or will it do as told in /etc/default/grub ?

MX23 - how to disable os-prober (grub) [Solved]
It seems the system now ignores the value of GRUB_DISABLE_OS_PROBER in /etc/default_grub ?

Re: MS Teams no longer available
IIRC skype and teams work with edge (possibly with some limitations), not necessarily on other chrome-derived browsers and definitely not firefox (I tried). I have not needed it in months and this is the only reason i installed edge. If someone is going to capture my data i have no preference betwee...
