Re: Dear Webmasters
The new forum software update looks great. Looks cleaner with more white. I'm sure someone might find more white unpleasant to the eye, but white color is a fact on the Web. Some sites take it to an extreme, but here it feels like a good balance I think. My only complaint is: Why is there a black li...

First let me say that I am not qualified to answer your questions - I'm a simple user without a need for an advanced live system. Secondly, I think it's a well articulated and "fun" post you made. I feel I might learn something. Just some quick remarks: If you don't "understand" ...

Re: How to move settings from MX19.4 to MX21
Good question. I would love to know that too as I believe that's top secret. :whispering: I don't think that is top secret. The procedure has been the same as long as I have been around. The MX installer can preserve your home even if it is on the root partition (this is a great feature). Ju...

Re: MX-21 RC1 feedback (Xfce)
I dont pretend it doesn't exist either, it just doesn't actually do what we wanted as it only affects Xfce apps that use libxfce4ui. but more power to you, it is an option. No, but honestly d_o. I absolutely think it's you who are kidding me and not the other way around. It works perfectly on MX-21...

Re: MX-21 RC1 feedback (Xfce)
No longer any way around having client side decorations? My favorite feature of MX-21 betas was being able to turn off CSD. Just use libxfce4ui-nocsd like everyone else. Even SwampRabbit posted a screenshot showing libxfce4ui-nocsd so I don't know why he pretends it doesn't exist. https://forum.mxl...

Re: User password, later change of national keyboard, no more access to machine
So what happened to me, as I was new, I installed mxlinux keeping the english (us) keyboard the default (not knowing it's the default) and adding german keyboard (with no variation). ^^ This seems to be the problem. Keep it simple like fehlix wrote. Only set one keyboard in the installer and remove...

Re: latest Chrome (94.0.4606.61) breaks window size settings for Chrome
It's a known bug in Chrome Stable v94 (and Brave). It only affects Linux users on X11 that happen to use a window manager, mostly backwards people like myself. Chromium devs only had a month to fix the regression before releasing v94 Stable and I guess they didn't have enough manpower so here we are...
