Re: How to remove installed app?

I always have a recent copy of my system on a USB stick and made with live usb maker from an MX snapshot, so yeah, I guess I'd probably do that and delete the folder in that scenario.

Re: How to remove installed app?

I'd try Catfish and see how many files it throws up in a search for the app. You can open the specific file or folder that the file is in, from within Catfish. You would have to make a judgment then as to whether or not the file was safe to delete, but at least it ought to show you what related file...

Re: remote vulnerability-how can I be sure don't have it on MX?

Not sure how relevant it is, but I'll throw it out there...I've been blocking the following ports with Gufw and denying anything in or out from them since MX17. I've found this list doesn't interfere with torrents or VPN etc., As long as you don't rely on any sort of remote file sharing/desktop type...

Re: MX-19 Repository - The Catfish thread

Installs and searches flawlessly. Always defaults to compact list on re-opening, so can't set thumbnail view as a default, which is a shame. The CSD window layout is neat however.

Re: MX19.1 AHS Release

Thanks to the MX team for adding MX19.1 AHS release for newer hardware. Absolutely...I can't praise this release enough. I built my rig a couple of years ago with a few top end components. I got a blank screen trying to run the first MX 19 release when booted from a usb. The next one I tried could ...
