More attractive was that one group (FreeBSD) manages the whole ball of wax: kernel, system utilities and end-user packaging, so that the ...

Has there been a change to how the Forum records what posts have been seen? It used to be (I think) that if one logged in, just checked on private messages for example, and then logged out, that this would not affect the "New posts" under "Quick links". But now it seems that just...

Re: MX 17/18 Repository: The Featherpad Thread

Still interesting though to get a peek behind the scenes. Also, the attribution ...

Re: Why do some shell built-ins have files?

Re: PT-BR Translator
I noticed all the recent work you have done. Thank you. There is no set schedule for inclusions of translations. I keep track of how much work is being done, and when there is enough to justify the effort of rebuilding the apps, then I gather them up and send them off for updating in the apps. So it...

Re: cal -h
The man page is not explicit enough. It looks like the described options apply to both, but: The cal utility displays a simple calendar in traditional format and ncal offers an alterna‐ tive layout, more options and the date of Easter. It then gives the details for all the options mixed together. So...
