Re: (solved)live-usb-maker does not work for me
I don't have an antiX installation at the moment, so I don't know. I'm referring to the dd option, by the way. MX-LUM's dd functionality does not work for me, while the dd option in live-usb-maker-gui does, on the same USB stick. That's strange, can you use the new MX-LUM I posted with logging enab...

Re: (solved)live-usb-maker does not work for me
OK, built a new mx-live-usb-maker with logging enabled (it will spit messages to /var/log/mx-live-usb-maker.log) maybe that would give us a clue of what is going on. The new build is in our github repo:
64bit - https://github.com/MX-Linux/mx-live-usb ... _amd64.deb

Re: (solved)live-usb-maker does not work for me
OK, maybe it was something else, you could get a clue you start mx-live-usb-maker from the CLI and then copy the live-usb-maker command it generates again (with sudo in front) and see what error it displays. Again I should make it easier to troubleshoot, maybe write a log...

Re: (solved)live-usb-maker does not work for me
Not much info provided: MX-LUM-error.png I should provide more troubleshooting info, since I had that happening to me, I have found at least one cause of it. So for example if the ISO is on a system that doesn't allow mounting the ISO like for example in my case a shared VirtualBox folder the tool ...

Re: Problems with big December package update
Wherever it came from it was forced on us. Nothing was forced on you, there's a reason we don't ship with automatic updates enabled by default, you probably set it up for automatic updates -- in my opinion it doesn't mean "forced on you" when you say "give me all automatically"....

Re: Bug Reporting Website
We haven't discussed these issues, I doubt however that bug reporting site will divert much (any) traffic from the forum, we had a bug tracking before and it was hardly used. It will help us organize and track some reports, there are not going to be any hard requirements like "don't report on f...

Re: Bug Reporting Website
I think all the bugs we can possible fix them should be listed there, normally that's the bugs of MX tools, and in general about the behavior of Live and installed MX system. I don't think there's a clear cut but obviously some bugs will get priority over others (for example a bug that shows up in d...
