WJCE 6353 is a demodulator chip, not a tuner.

If I'm not mistaken, tint2 launchers don't read the X-KeepTerminal=true in the desktop file, so you need to change the launcher to use open your terminal program with the full pathname of btop as a parameter.

And fyi, btop is already available for MX in the default debian repository.

lspci shows this card has a Conexant CX23880 DVB chipset. At LinuxTV.org I see only one pci Zarlink card with that chipset family. That terminal output looks like a working card with no antenna (or a not good enough one) attached.
