I've learned that with KDE removing libs often results in some unexpected item breaking, usually down deep in some settings tool.

/etc/resolv.conf should be a symlink to /run/resolvconf/resolv.conf, if memory serves me correctly.

Yup, I was thinking of a folder in /user/share/applications probably a bad spot. /usr/share/applications subfolders get picked up by the various menus/rofi/appfinders so we would get duplicates. probably better in something like /usr/share/mx-fluxbox-setttings-manager or something like that. a lot ...
