I have begun working on making my minimal MXLinux look more 'current'; I hope. Here is my first effort at a decent and somewhat unique xfce layout. The big changes from standard are a modified left panel and the use of tint2... -- an abbreviated Left side Xfce panel -- "tint2" for the base...

By way of a comment... one of the best things about MX/antiX is having the option to bypass systemd. Just sayin' :wink:

FWIW, the most recent LXQt release is 0.14.1; released the end of Feb 2019 (see: https://lxqt.org/releases/).
