Re: antiX-19-b3-full and base versions (64 and 32 bit) available

Hi, that did not help either, so I went for the cli-installer when it dropped to a tty. Got it installed - then upgraded to 5.2 kernel via the cli installer tool but it only has 390 drivers which again does not support the 2080Ti lol Thanks for trying to help though. Regards Zeb... um...no, if its ...

in the short run, might be able to use "xorg=vesa" to force the vesa driver to be used, install, then install the nvidia drivers.

Hi

alt+F1 does the same as ctrl+alt+F1 and takes you to the photo screen above.

alt+F7 or ctrl+alt+F7 takes you back to the Antix splash screen for want of a better description

Regards Zeb...
Try removing the splasht parameter from the options.

Re: "Cheese" webcam software

Is it possible to have "Cheese" available for install in MX Linux? https://github.com/GNOME/cheese I used "Cheese" before (in Lubuntu) and liked it a lot. I'm going need it in a month. If there's a similar application for MX Linux, I could do that. I don't need a lot of features. Just an ability to...

Re: SoftMaker Free Office now available

It seems like a bad idea for the long-term to add software to the MXPI that will not be maintained automatically by mx updater. The abscence of SoftMaker was not a problem and a solution was not needed. (I've been off the forum for a couple of months for medical reasons.) in this case, a repo is ad...

Re: 18.3 snapshot installer

how long did you let it sit?

I don't know why its not enabling, the output looks reasonable, and right after that listing of drives is when the gui should display with the next button enabled.

Re: 18.3 snapshot installer

The button is disabled while information is collected. If you run

Code: Select all

sudo minstall
From the terminal and post the output maybe we can find out why it's stuck
