Re: RESOLVED - MX Tools Panel Missing After Update

Running mx-tools from a terminal launches fine. I only had a MX Tools icon on the right-side pane not in the left-side pane for whatever reason. Hovering over the right-side pane showed the individual tools but not the MX Tools Windows that shows all of them together. https://imgur.com/L5idm53 I cr...

Re: Time Setings in MX17.1

Ok, just sent an updated installer up to be placed in the repo. I think it fixed the problem (at least in my tests).

once it hits the repos, anyone can test by

Code: Select all

apt-get install mx-installer
from any of the isos before running an install.

Re: mx-packageinstaller (MX15/16) unmet dependency -- xdg-desktop-portal-gtk

Getting proper file choosers in MX-17 on some flatpaks requires xdg-desktop-portal-gtk. It was handled differently in the older flatpak branch in Jessie before xdg-desktop-portal-gtk was developed. in many cases you don't get getting file choosers at all with out it. both abiword and kdenlive do no...

Since the file controls whether LOCAL is used or not for the system clock, the tool that sets the times defaults to UTC. I think we can fix that easy eno...

Re: Distrowatch 7 day page hit ranking

What it tells me is that most of the clicks per day come.from the top 100 chart rather.than the distro pages or search. So since the chart was missing for a day or 2, clicks per day across the board were very small for those days, but the days a still counted in the average.

Re: DPI settings under I3WM

My guess is you need to adjust a Xresources file. If its not present (and I doubt it is under Xfce, at least by default), you can create it. Oh, I can? OK, I can do that. I wasn't sure that creating it myself was going to be a kosher solution.... Xfce (and many of the major DEs) doesn't strictly sp...
