If you open MX Tweak tool (within MX Tools) the first time your panel settings a stored away into ~/.restore folder. Within this .restore folder you'll find the backup of the original .config-folders. You could use the restore-facility within MX-Tools to recreate your original panel settings if you...

Yup, then log out and back in to see the effect. Make sure to back up the default ones that come with MX, in case something doesn't work.

Hi, and welcome. If Xubuntu follows standard Xfce locations for settings (about which we know nothing) then the first thing I would think the first thing you would want to do is backup the entire hidden folder containing your Xfce config settings: ~/.config Then inside of that you can navigate to 1)...

Perhaps more relevant for OP: look at the bottom of the screen when booting Live, and click on the Help if unclear.

--click to add a Launcher
--right-click > Properties
--click on the "+" sign
--scroll down to MX Tweak

Yup, if logout is what you want. The nice thing about using the Action Button is that you can set it however what you want, and also lose the need to confirm. I use suspend all the time, and appreciate a single click to be done.
