Hey, you're using the gnu libre version of the 4.14.12 antiX kernel. Is that intentional?
The 'normal' kernel is 4.14.12-antix.1-amd64-smp

You need a patched 'meltdown' kernel and the 4.10 series is no longer supported. That is why I suggest the 4.14.12 antiX kernel. You could even try the 4.9.75 antiX kernel as well. It *might* be ok.

If nvidia is already installed via ddm-mx, then it should automatically create the same drivers for any newly installed kernel.

They are different, I don't know what the MX kernel includes or is based off. antiX kernels are basically vanilla kernels from kernel.org plus 4 or 5 patches. antiX kernels can be downloaded and installed using dpkg -i from here http://repo.antixlinux.com/stretch/pool/main/l/linux-4.14.12-antix.1-am...
