Re: How to update to Plasma 5.22?

I tried the suggestion (Blog found at https://www.preining.info/blog/2021/06/ ... or-debian/)

Even though I imported the key that is provided with this article, when I update, I get a Public Key Error.

Bummer, I love MX Linux, just wanted to get a new shiny DE.

How to update to Plasma 5.22?

I just started using the MX Linux KDE version and I recently read that Plasma 5.22 was released. How does that work with MX Linux in terms of will we see an update come through the regular update manager?

If yes, what kind of time frame will this occur?

Thanks

Re: MX-19 KDE Screenshot

Changed from XFCE to KDE. Never used KDE before, but I really like it. I followed a 'LinuxScoop' KDE customization video to achieve this result. Re: SOLVED - Need CTRL+D to Boot System

Thanks all I added a # sign to comment-out the line I added, rebooted the system, no error. I added that line b/c I could not get Deja-Dup to recognize my external HD in order to do backups. My external drive is not always connected. I connect to it when I need to do a backup. That may have been par...

SOLVED - Need CTRL+D to Boot System

I've been away for months and am just now getting to this issue that happened prior to my leaving. When my system boots up, I need to press CTRL+D in order for the system to complete it's boot process. My cellphone screenshot is enclosed. The only thing I have changed other than normal system update...

Re: Minimize application to second panel

You're not limited to just the panels from XFCE. You can mix/match with a dock of your choice (I use PLANK) to achieve the effect you want. I have a XFCE panel for one set of icons to launch programs and my main programs are on a PLANK dock, then each panel controls the program icons that they're as...

Re: SOLVED - Terminal Auto-Complete Function Not Working

Thank you @dolphin_oracle I copied your text into my bashrc file. The only text it contained was: source /usr/share/defaults/etc/profile Not sure what may have changed my file, I didn't customize it or anything, but that is neither here-nor-there now. After copying your code example, auto-complete n...

Re: Terminal Auto-Complete Function Not Working

Sorry - Bad example.

If I type apt ins for apt install, hitting tab does not work. If I type apt-get ins and hit tab, that does not autocomplete either. I can't recall a specific example, but autocomplete does not work with apt commands or anything else.

SOLVED - Terminal Auto-Complete Function Not Working

Not sure when this happened, but I cannot use the auto-complete function [TAB key] to auto complete certain commands, IE: If I want to auto complete 'sudo apt-install', if I type 'sudo apt-ins' then hit TAB, nothing happens. I had this ability beforehand and I've checked my packages thinking maybe I...
