Re: Which door do I take?

Why is it called a bathroom in America, there are no baths in it! They are lavatory pans or toilets not bathrooms. Why do they call it the Loo in the UK? You could technically take a bath in there :) Loo is the shortened name from the word Waterloo' which is used to replace water closet or WC.

Re: Restart/Shutdown takes longer time

I accidentally discovered that when I blew out the dust from my laptop with an air spray, shut down and start up times decreased. That may not help yours though but might be worth a try.

Addressing people normally when you have a complaint with forum staff helps a lot.
If the mod had given their name instead of cowardly hiding behind the word 'mod', a normal complaint could have been addressed. How are we supposed to know which 'mod' is writing?

Re: Interesting

But the point JayM keeps ignoring is that he and we know about Linux and know how to download and install it but this product and device are aimed at those who think there are only one or at most two operating systems in the world and don't know that Linux exists. I presume JayM, you also claim that...

Re: Interesting

Yes, Linux on a stick, but hardly a scam since it is pitched at those who wouldn't normally consider switching to Linux and /or wouldn't know where to start downloading and making such a device, iethe general public. The 'answer' by mpuckette is also a load of rubbish which is obviously written to t...
