Re: Can't Wake MX Linux Up

Try installing another kernel. For instance, on my own set-up, (also with wireless mouse and keyboard), resuming from sleep/suspend using the 6.1.0-13-rt-amd64 kernel works fine, but using the 6.4.0-1 kernel fails to wake-up the screen.

Re: what is a good PDF reader on linux?

I like Evince, Gnome document viewer as a reader for pdf's. Lightweight and quick with a good search function. It's not all encompassing, but it does most things I need it to.

Re: Is there a really 'adjustable' dark mode? [Solved]

You might like "Dark Background and Light Text" extension. It's available for Mozilla based browsers, but you would have to check if it's available for Chrome browser. You can disable it on a per site basis or alter the way it displays a given website, but the best feature of this extensio...

Re: Blue light filter application

You could always try this? I created three Icons for the panel and assigned them each a value of colour temperature and gamma combined, using (x)sct and xgamma. One for daytime, one for evening and one for night time. The launcher isn't a shell, so it can only run a single command To implement sct a...

You might try setting "xpinstall.signatures.required" to false in the about:config and see if that solves your problem for the moment

I prefer dark themes, will this work with Firefox as well?
Try FF addon Dark background and light text....(long winded name but excellent addon) You can easily change the colour of texts and headers as well as the background, quite easily from the settings.

Re: Resize Close Button Hitbox on Firefox [Solved]

Yes, I know my cursor was not over the button. I want to move the button or enlarge its hitbox so that clicking in the farthest top-right point of the screen closes the window like it does for most everything else. It's not a major issue, but an annoyance that I have not been able to find a solutio...

Re: LibreWolf - firefox fork - what are your thoughts? [Solved]

I used to advocate for using Waterfox, but as Rosie mentioned above, when it sold to System1, I ditched it and went back to Firefox ESR. On reflection, it's worth considering if, or when, critical or severe potential security issues arise, Mozilla will be the first to build and release a fix or patc...
