Same here, I don't want to hunt for random packages to have a complete experience. If I think there is too much bloat I simply uninstall it. I think your screenshots look good.

Strange thought:- If MX19 is made without the systemd-init option, it will be very similar to Devuan :alien: . And if it is made without the sysv-init option, some people might prefer Devuan :frown: . P.S. I have tried out Devuan live and it works quite well even without its 245 updates! antiX is m...
I don't see how the system is "locked down" if xwayland allows X-based applications to run. If you keep using Wayland, you'll notice that there are limitations you don't have under X.org. Distros being somewhat dishonest try to inflict those limitations on X.org too. They tried to remove Synaptic f...

I've been testing Debian buster since the freeze started and Wayland seems absolutely fine to me, the only reason I've switched to X is because xterm won't load it's resources under Wayland and Firefox tears (slightly) with my Intel graphi...

I clicked on the top and then both panels appeared and everything was normal after that. It did when I booted just now using systemd. But, since most Linux disros are using systemd as...
