Registry info here and also more details that may explain why you didn't see certain options:

@Eadwine Rose

Fast Startup ... is different than Fast Boot. Fast Startup, at least in Windows 10, is located in the Control Panel under Power Options. The setting is stored in the registry. I now just check the registry.

@operadude

I think, but I could be very wrong, this is related:

The OP wrote in comment 9: "Still, I need to mount/unmount separately than powering off."

Re: Addon G'mic for gimp It does not appear [Solved]

I am on MX-19.4.

gimp is 2.10.12.

I installed G'mic from the MX Test Repo (I took both):

gimp-gmic 2.9.7
gmic 2.9.7

G'mic appears under Filters.

Works.

Re: Package Request: MuPDF-GL

Thank you. Just an FYI, all versions of mupdf, mujs, and looks like several other dependencies all have vulnerabilities (some fairly nasty double free and buffer overflow)... looks like the Artifex folks have some work to do. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I use SumatraPDF and MuPDF-GL...

Package Request: MuPDF-GL

Would like to request MuPDF-GL. Its sibling is in the repos: MuPDF 1.14.0 is available in the Stable Repo. MuPDF 1.16.1 is available in the MX Test Repo. MuPDF-GL: "has more features such as table of contents, unicode search, etc." and annotations (not just one or two, but over a dozen, wi...

Re: Problem with Libreoffice Draw with a PDF file [Solved]

I typically fill these out using a PDF program that provides annotations. The annotation is called Typewriter, Free Text, ... depends on the program. My guess is Master PDF Editor provides annotations. Okular, available in the MX Test Repo (I am using MX-19), provides annotations. Edit: I see you al...

Re: Problem with Libreoffice Draw with a PDF file [Solved]

Maybe this: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81484 While the bug references Chinese fonts, there is a discussion of faux bold. I am on a Windows machine at the moment, but I created a LibreOffice Writer (6.4.7.2) document with the font Impact. The reason I chose this font is becau...

MX-16_fan - >Master Password and passwords I remember researching this several years ago. (I realize we are discussing Pale Moon ...) Back in the day, one needed a master password to encrypt the passwords. This is from 2009: https://luxsci.com/blog/master-password-encryption-in-firefox-and-thunderbi...

Re: Would MX-17 be easier on SSD than Windows?

vksan, Yes they are internal drives, but switched. I made wiring harnesses that turn the 5 and 12V (red and yellow) on or off with a key switch which I mounted on the front of the case. (Black ground wires are always connected, a configuration blessed by a WD engineer in an e-mail) That way I have ...
