Re: Package request: Gajim 1.3.1

SwampRabbit wrote: Wed Apr 14, 2021 10:40 pm @qwertyblahblah from a quick look it looks like it can be backported for MX-19.

I'll work on it over the next few days, if I run into problems which will make it take longer, I'll post back here.
Were you able to work on this?

Package request: Gajim 1.3.1

Hi Stevo and all. Can you please package (XMPP client) Gajim 1.3.1 for MX 19? They have a flatpak but I don't wish to use flatpak. And installing from Debian testing would conflict. Thanks.

Re: Request: gPodder 3.10.9

OK, got it. It also required a couple of extra backport python3- packages from upstream Debian. You can get it here early: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1whSxEwjZCayiIQ11XVGxmOeteHtETqiT When I tried installing the gpodder deb, after installing the other deb files, I received a dependency error ...

Re: Site describing MX as a 'product'?

I know it's it's just one instance of one word ...and in a menu, never in any text on the site. A MX Linux is indeed a project, a status that IMO is not about to be impugned by a single top menu entry. Yes, if I'm going to talk about semantic clarity I shouldn't have posted that with the menu entry...
