Is there something that needs to be done to enable wireless network? If not, then it is not working.

Removing the Nvidia driver solved the problem.

I tried it with both the MX and backports driver with the same result.

This is not an issue for me since I've used MX-16 with the Nouveau driver on this machine for quite sometime. I was just trying the Nvidia driver.

It's not the icons, their fine. It's the font size. The font size in Clipit is significantly larger than network manager or bluetooth.

Just did a new install of MX-17. Complete system wipe from MX-16. I am having an issue with panel fonts. When first booted the panel fonts are larger than they are set to. Restarting the panel resolves this issue. Some of the fonts for apps in the notification tray are larger than the others. I don'...

You have to sign with a VPN provider. In this case it is Private Internet Access. Cost is about $40.00/yr.

Following those instructions for VPN worked.
