I'm on the road but somewhere in the forum I've posted the solution to this. You have to modify the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/syanptic.conf file to enable the feature (basically youset up reverse scolling with a -negative number IIRC) because chromium (and a few others) doesn't respect the Xfce mouse se...
