Re: Please translate mx-goodies

For everybody to note: This is an old thread, from December 2017. There is no need to add any more translations to it. Even if you haven't made a translation here, you almost certainly have made the appropriate entry on Transifex in mx-all-desktop-entries. Also to note - only 3 languages are 100% c...

Re: Please translate mx-goodies

Zeh, you have already translated this on Transifex in mx-all-desktop-entries. There, you gave it "Informação do Computador". If you'd like to revise that, then the best place would be on Transifex because I will be sure to pick it up there. Sorry for the confusion. I am trying to avoid posting deskt...

Re: How to work on .ts files ?

Since this is in the Translations forum, I think OP is asking about how to translate QT .ts files, not transport streams in mpeg. (1) There is a QT tool called QT Linguist that deals directly with .ts files. But it is far more complex and does things that we don't require. (2) You could "download fo...

Re: Please translate mx-goodies

Thank you! I have recorded your translations, and they will show up in the next release (or sooner when we do a refresh). If you would like to consider contributing more translations, you can do so directly on Transifex . If you aren't currently a Transifex user, take a look at our Wiki entry for tr...

Re: Please translate new app mx-boot-options

Yes. But it doesn't matter if you do. You don't need the language qualifier either. In fact, you can just translate whatever comes after the "=". The Name and Comment are more for your info than anything else. They all get properly formatted further down the line.

Please translate new app mx-boot-options

Hello translators, On Transifex , we have a new app that needs translations: mx-boot-options . Most people will see 40 untranslated phrases consisting of 230 English words. Ordinarily, I would ask that you complete the Name and Comment entries for this new app in a post in this thread. This time, I ...

Re: (MX17.1) Extremely low file copy speed to an external usb pen or disk (fat32 formatted)

It's like your inxi output, but in reverse, with slightly different info. Just anted to see what it would report as speeds. All seems OK there. Yes, there could be a problem with your keyboard and mouse if Legacy USB support is disabled. Are they strictly USB 1.1, or are they USB 2.0 capable? In whi...

What does lsusb -t say?

You've checked your BIOS? Try disabling Legacy USB support.
