Which was the last Version with kernel 5.2 ?
Re: Which was the last Version with kernel 5.2 ?
But.. the kernels are in "MX Package Installer" from menu.
First look at the ones in the initial tab : "Popular Apps".
Others are also in "Stable Repo" and "Test Repo" tabs (and in "Debian Backports" tab newer ones..)
(If you like, simply try with antiX 4.19 or Debian 4.19 with 2 clicks .. "LTS" ... )

sorry, I'm not familiar with debian.
it means, i can install the latest MXlinux and then downgrade to the 5.2 kernel without loosing functionality?

I don't think there is an iso with 5.2 installed. best you can do is mx19 with the 4.19 kernel pre installed.
you can also do what Huckleberry Finn suggests and install a 4.19 kernel on mx21.

lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4 - MX-23
FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

... in case you install an older one (like 4.19) you'll find it in "Advanced Options" in Grub to boot with (as you might already know). Then you can even remove the other(s) or just make it the default one with "MX Boot Options" - "Boot to".
