Is there any hope of getting Texlive 2022 installed? The current Texlive version in the repositories is 2020.

Texlive 2022 should be available now in the MX 21 test repo. I also updated texlive-bin and texlive-extras.
Just "texlive" should be installable, but I did not test "texlive-full" 2022, so it is possible that there's a few of its bajillion texlive dependencies that require updating, too. Let me know if it does.
