Re: Add zzzFM file manager to Popular Packages
I was under the impression to have zzzFM first within MX testrepo.SwampRabbit wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 6:04 pm its done and I sent it up for inclusion in the repo, its gonna take some time though. I didn't make any changes, so should function OOTB like on antiX, I saw there were Recommended packages... if users want some of them as depends to increase OOTB functionality... just say so.
I'm getting it now from mx main/bullseye.
+++EDIT+++:
Code: Select all
apt policy zzzfm
zzzfm:
Installed: 1.0.7-6~mx21+1
Candidate: 1.0.7-6~mx21+1
Version table:
*** 1.0.7-6~mx21+1 500
500 http://mxrepo.com/mx/repo bullseye/main amd64 Packages
* existing defaults need to be adjusted, as roxterm and leafpad are not always available in MX 21: * considiration to made to adjust regarding pkexec based authentication used in MX ( not used in antiX):
(Note: the available gksu pkexec-wrapper is not a full gksu implementation) * resulting in an error when trying to perform administrative actions: * at least German localization seems to be messed up in some places:
( the text shown is not German) * exfat mounting might need some adjustment
(which I'm not able to test right now due to the missing pkexec authentication with zzzFM,
so I'm post here older exfat mounting test on another installtion, where I fixed authentication): Hope someone will look into the mentioned issues ( @skidoo )
Thanks

Yeah that’s my bad, I forgot it was mentioned to put in Test when I sent it, I was just doing to much at the time.
