[SOLVED] Unable to delete menu item from whisker

I deleted the Adobe Reader app using the MX package installer, and the program has been indeed deleted. But the icon still shows up on the whisker menu.

I tried using the MX menu editor, but there does not seem to be an option to delete it from the menu (see picture below). When I highlight "Adobe Reader 9" (or any other item), the delete button is grayed out, or not accessible. I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

Yup,

However, I just solved my own problem.

First, I deleted the hidden .abobe files, then rebooted. That didn't get rid of it.
But then when I went back into the MX menu editor, and just deleted everything for that application (name, command, categories, and all the text in the Advanced Editor box), and hit "Save Changes".........Voila, gone.

I'll mark it as solved.

the real answer is that the desktop file is apparently provided by a depenency package and not acroread itself.

acroread-data: /usr/share/applications/AdobeReader.desktop

I'm going to add acroread-data to the removal scheme for adobe-reader, but an

apt-get autoremove

will get read of a lot of left overs.
