I had exactly the same thing happen with Vivaldi Browser for 5 days straight. Nothing but time-out errors or blank pages. I was getting ready to contact them in order ot find out if it could be something hardware/network related on my end? Today was the first day that I got distrowatch up in Vivaldi (just now). That was really weird ...

Thanks, I already know about that link though. All of my other dozen or so open tabs were working without a problem too. Online banking, shopping, server logins, MX forum, etc.

No joy with Fx Private Window.

Used User Agent Switcher to tell them I was using Chrome and now it's working fine.

Very strange.

Try connecting in a different server or country if you have a VPN. If not, try disabling any firewalls temporally you may have, host file or browser extensions that block ads and anything else. You can try a free VPN just to test to see if it's a blocked I.P.
I am command line illiterate.

Has your IP address been accidentally blacklisted as a malicious site?

It has happened to me before for DW and a few forums. I emailed the web admins and got the block lifted.

Using Firefox ESR 45.2.0 installed from a mikeinsantarosa .deb.
Used User Agent Switcher to tell them I was using Chrome and now it's working fine.
Since it appears that DW doesn't like my Firefox, I guess I'm going to have to blame Mike.

I stopped using Firefox when they started messing about with it from v 57 on. Now I use Waterfox, which is like Firefox used to be.
