MX 17 Repository: The xfce4-power-manager Thread

We now have version 1.6.1, based on GTK+ 3, in the test repository, as well as xfce4-power-manager-plugin. This was backported from Debian testing. These provide the battery monitor and PM/brightness control widgets on the taskbar. You should log out and back in after upgrading them to have them restart correctly.

Since this is now GTK+ 3, themes that have poor support for GTK 3 won't look good on it. The default MX theme looks fine.
