This continues MX-Wilflower hybrid troubles...

For issues with MX that has been modified from the initial install. Example: adding packages that then cause issues.

That's not good enough in this day & age.

There are very few instances over the last ~5 years of using this forum that I have not been using a VPN.
Now all of a sudden I'm not allowed to post in the forum if I'm using one?

I feel as though, all of a sudden, I am being unfairly discriminated against.

Some people can use a VPN, but I can't. That is unfair discrimination.
No, you were told that spammers have spoiled the VPN party so to speak. You are still free to use a VPN, but if the IP address you are assigned at this end by the VPN (the one we see) is associated with spamming activity, it and you will be blocked. I think that the onus is on you to search out a VPN provider that polices its users so that its block of IP addresses stay off the spam lists.

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Perfect response @j2mcgreg

I don't like the sense of entitlement from some people "that's not good enough"... dude, you are not forced to be here. You are not forced to use the forum or MX. You are not doing us a favor by using the output of our effort.

j2mcgreg is correct. These were my exact words to you.
If you are using a VPN disable it when logging into and on the Forum.

Using a VPN when on the forum may cause you to be blocked by our spam blocking software. A VPN will generally use a random IP which may have been previously used by a spammer and is therefore blocked.
That is very different from saying you cannot use a VPN. I myself use a VPN and do not have an issue.
