Is string "% Installer" -> MX Linux Installer ? (I suppose it is and that's the window's title of Installer as well).
The gazelle installer is generalized so that it can be used by more than one distro. So, yes, for us that will reduce to "MX Linux Installer". The same idea is used in other strings too where the distro title is implied.

Probably the first version. But we've better wait. When they change the string, the translations are lost.

I saw that, but let it pass. Although several disks may be tested, perhaps only one failed. It would probably require some convoluted wording to account for that. Still, strictly speaking they should agree in number. Feel free to do so in your translations.

Thank you. I know that it's for general use, 'MX Linux' is an example - for Polish translation the order of words in the sentence is important.

So 'MX Linux Installer' will be 'Instalator MX Linux'.

I've used the plural form.

Some new translations needed on Transifex.

There is a new resource formatusb. Since there is some commonality with other resources, just 32 words in 10 strings are required for most up-to-date languages. Also, please supply a Name and Comment for this resource in mx-all-desktop-entries.

Thank you!

Hello Old Giza,

Spanish done again :happy:

I just want to ask you something about mx-all-desktop-entries, should the translations have the abbreviation or not?

For example, some translations have: Name[es]=
and others only have: Name=

Which one is correct? or it doesn't matters?
and if there is a correct one, is it necessary to correct the wrong ones?

I would be very grateful, if you can help me on that.

Thanks for asking. It used to matter, but it hasn't for some time.

For example, you can translate "Name=MX Tools" as ...

Name[es]=MX Herramientas
Name=MX Herramientas
Nombre[es]=MX Herramientas
Nombre=MX Herramientas
MX Herramientas

All are acceptable. Essentially, anything before the "=" is ignored (actually standardized to "Names[es]="

Same for "Comment" line.

mx-tweak/mx-tweak-gtk3

A few new translations are requested on Transifex.

There are 4 new strings for mx-tweak.

And 8 new strings for the new gtk3 variant: mx-tweak-gtk3.

There is commonality, so as soon as you update one, you'll find fewer to do in the other.

Edit: Also a few additions to -

mx-codecs
mx-live-usb-maker
mx-packageinstaller
mx-snapshot

Edit2: A few more additions -

apt-notifier
ddm-mx
mx-packageinstaller-descriptions
