Yeah...thunderbird 60 is finally out, and we can't build that with cargo 0.25 in Stretch.

Do we want to switch back to mozillabinary builds? We'll need to fix the language pack problem then; I did a end run around that issue by switching to the source build packages. Maybe Debian will push out security updates to the 52.X series, and we can stick with that.
Are we still on hold for this one?

Just to be clear, you've discovered the weak link is cargo 0.25 still not building for Stretch?

Did you try the 0.29 from sid yet?

I have Dr stuff until late this afternoon today. I'll do the latest firefox soon as I get done.

Yes, I have not been able to backport any version of cargo. The rustc 1.24 currently in Stretch amd64 also required it to build, though they did not add it to the repo, so it's currently violating Debian policy.

Backporting the 4.18.6 kernel that just appeared in Debian Sid.

Also the new linux-latest 4.18.98 metapackages from Sid, so if you install linux-headers-amd64 and linux-image-amd64 from the test repo, it'll automatically pull in the 4.18.6 amd64 kernel and headers, plus pull in new versions whenever the metapackage or kernel is updated.

The newest release of Eaglemode (0.93.2)
It was cool enough that I built 0.82 for MEPIS 11 and used it quite a bit but I had forgotten about it. Way past time for a new build.

Iridium-browser 2018.5.67 for MX 17 (it's 64-bit only)

Update: never mind, we already had it.

Youtube seems to have broken a lot of video downloaders, so am trying clipgrab 3.7.0 and youtube-dl 2018.09.10

dev team,
please do housekeeping on stable repo.
it takes a long time (few mins :p , long enough to irritate) scanning thru 52,000 packages, sometime it also crash.
please get rid off obsolete packages, segregate packages for mx15, 16, 17...future releases.
thank you.

It takes about 10 seconds over here.. It would be nice if you would first ask if other people have the same issue going on instead of jumping straight to telling the developers what to do with their precious time. This comes across very rude. Remember these people are NOT paid for the work they do here.
