Yes, I have done it (by editing the conky definition file), but it is not easy.
It's one click in Conky Manager, as the MX Conky Help file indicates.
To change to 24hr time, in most cases you can use Conky Manager > Gear icon > Time. A few conkies are set to a time format that can not be changed (the default Gotham, for example). In such cases, click the pencil icon to open up the script itself, and click Search > Replace to change %l (lower-case L) to %H
Except that I do not see Gear nor pencil icons. They are absent from the Conky Manager that opens from Thunar here. Guess that I have something wrong.

You have to use the Start Menu > Accessories > Conky Manager
It's different from MX Conky.

I did, that is how opened it but no Gear icon. Hmmm... BTW I could read most of the Spanish (but slowly) in that Vote, but Eso si, had me foxed.

LOL. Yes, the Spanish is on top.
English is about a half page scroll down.

Maybe it needs to be in columns?

I think it is ok as is, doesn't need much scrolling. A real problem is that the results depend upon users voting, the good keen ones might, but regardless it cannot be considered as an accurate measure of use nor of popularity.

I think you are referring to opening the application from Whisker menu?

As for what icons show up, it might depend on what icon set you are using. Different sets will assign different pics for the same button. The toolbar buttons for these 2 options are the 5th and 6th buttons from the left of the toolbar. See below for a pic of conky manager when the icon set used is Faenza-ish. Instead of gears, the settings icon is portrayed as slider controls.

If you mouseover the buttons with your cursor, you should get sufficient information on the buttons. One should mention being able to adjust certain settings of the selected conky widget, while the other should enable the editing the configuration file itself.

Yes, asqwerth I should have said Whisker, not Thunar. However what I get to view is the Conky manager v2.4 with only 11 icons visible in the bar and those you refer to as
5th and 6th are two of those absent. The 5th here comes up as Edit Widget with only a reference to themes upon a click. The 6th icon displays a message about using a text editor, but stalls at that point. There is no reference to time changes on any the icons. There is obviously something missing in this Conky installation so will dig further tomorrow. I am using the antiX/MX display, perhaps that is part of the problem.

Did you select/click on a specific conky? If no conky is chosen, certain options may not be available.

There is no reference to time changes on any the icons
Time is one of the tabs you see when you click "Edit Widget." Did you look at my little HELP file and the explanation of its diagram?
The 6th icon displays a message about using a text editor
If you have a widget selected in the big list, and have a text editor installed, then when you click on that icon the entire code of the widget should pop up (by default, in FeatherPad).
