I found the fix for mine to stop it screen going blank AntiX only so far Control Centre > Set Screen Blanking > turn on > set to 0 .

OR
stsoh
If power manager 'presentation mode' is checked, screen will always stay 'ON'.
uncheck 'presentation mode', power save will activate as predetermined. ;)
ps:
don't know where is 'presentation mode' located?
right clik power manager on the task bar and u can see it.

beside those power manager options, there is another setting on screensaver if u don't want your screen to go blank.
goto settings > screensaver > display modes > mode > select disable screen saver.

Hi,

*MX centric is not installed.

*Control Centre > Set Screen Blanking > (i’m using xfce, can’t see that …)

* If power manager 'presentation mode' is checked, screen will always stay 'ON'.

… right clik power manager on the task bar and u can see it. (i don’t see it).

*settings > screensaver > display modes > mode > select disable screen saber

(no, there is nothing like that – is it at the xfce4 desktop?, and i'm using wicd). :alien:

we thought u r using mx17.1.
is antix17.1 use xscreensaver?
if yes, then u can use "xscreensaver-command -deactivate" (without quote) and put it in /etc/rc.local file above exit 0.

Are you using default slim login manager? If so, type

Code: Select all

set-screen-blank
in a terminal
